I happened to be walking through Paragon Shopping Centre in Orchard last Saturday morning when I accidentally stumbled upon this secret garden:
Ikebana or the Japanese art of flower arranging with its birthplace in the temples of Japan, has been described as the most subtle, sensitive, and sophisticated medium of creative expressions using natural and man-made materials.
This international exhibit has made its way to Singapore, and has around 30 different arrangements. I did not want to post pictures of all of them, so here are are some – okay, still a lot – of my favorite ones.
They’re all so pretty, don’t you agree? Which one do you like the most?
The Ikebana International Singapore Chapter 135 Japanese flower arranging exhibit is open in Paragon Shopping Centre, Orchard, for a limited time only, from 02-12 April, 2015, from 10am to 9pm daily.
