Donut Bite (a Halloween Special)

One of the pics we entered under Cate’s name in the Donut Empire photo challenge won a $50 donut voucher.

Last night, we attended the halloween-themed awarding ceremony held in Tanjong Katong…or rather, I did.

Gelle and Cate arrived after the ceremony was done, but still in time to load up on free-flowing donuts and pose for lots of pictures.

While waiting for Joey (who got lost & never did show up), a Donut Empire guy chatted with us and said he really loved Makati upon learning that we were Pinays. Only after he asked us, “Do you like my donuts?” did we realize that we were talking to Sky Chiew, the CEO. He asked us about Pinoy taste in donuts because he was planning on opening branches in the Philippines.

We didn’t want to waste our costumes, so we decided to proceed to Clarke Quay. We had fun posing on some chairs we found in the mall.

Then we had dinner and walked around the entertainment district, having pictorials with the view and other costumed folks.

There was one heartstopping moment when we dropped my camera and its lens got dented and it wouldn’t work anymore..thank goodness we were able to fix it, though. I’d die without my camera!

This is by far my most halloween-y halloween ever!
