Our team leader Carie had her birthday and as the official birthday gimik planner, I rose to the occasion and came up with an idea to rival what happened on my birthday — a searcher-searchee contest!
Actually, I stole the idea from my roommate – they had done the same for her officemate’s birthday.
We called it SAP (Search for Alluring Papa) and the three searchees were Jon, Joel and Zan. Yeah, those first two are really saleable nowadays. Perhaps September is their fans month.
Once again I hosted, and I asked the guys some questions while they wrote their answers on pieces of paper which I read out loud. Carie had to choose the best answer. The first question was actually a command, and I asked each guy to give Carie a massage.
In the end, Zan won, and while the two “losers” gave Carie a rose each, the winner gave her a bouquet.
After that, we headed to one of the call rooms for an announcement – our manager Mina was moving to Singapore and she was switching roles with Mel, effective November!
Then we ate cake and pancit. It was a fun day. I’m glad I forced myself to go to work even though I was in pain.
