My high school and college classmate Austine (who jokingly refers to himself as my son) came to Singapore to visit his girlfriend Tyne on her birthday, December 7. We celebrated said event at Tyne’s flat.

The next day, we college classmates watched Bolt in Cathay Cinema (my first time to be inside a cinema here), had dinner at this Hongkong restaurant, posed for pictures infront of the lovely Christmas decors along Orchard Road, and ended the night with ice cream at Swensen’s.

The Friday after, we headed to Mama Caribbean bar in Clarke Quay. It was my first time to enter a bar in Singapore, so I didn’t let the opportunity to try the popular Singapore Sling cocktail slide. It was pretty good. We also played 1-2-3 pass with our cocktails so we could try everyone’s drinks. Remind me never to go near a Black Russian or a mojito ever again. We ended up dancing with one of the band singers. The entire band was made of Filipinos.

Yep, college reunion in SG part 3 was also so much fun.
