Every week, we allot one day for cheating on our diet. It’s usually on a weekend but this week, we moved our cheat day to Tuesday because we were too excited to eat the Lapid’s chicharon and Goldilock’s dinuguan that I got as pasalubong from my friends. When it comes to chicharon (pork crackling), nothing beats Lapid’s. And while dinuguan (with pig’s blood) is not for everyone, it’s one of my favorite Filipino food that I’ve been craving for a long time. I’m glad Goldilocks sells them in ready-to-eat foil pouches.
