I Won a Contest + A Giveaway

A few months ago, I joined an Instagram contest held by Megrhythm and I was one of the winners!

It’s a relaxation kit composed of an inflatable neck pillow, a scent infuser, a couple of tea bags, a beach ball designed stress ball, and four boxes of my favourite Megrhythm steam eye mask. I seriously love this product so much! It’s a self-warming eye mask which magically heats up when you tear a pack open, and I looove how it feels and smells as I drift off to sleep!

My team mates were pretty intrigued when they saw the mask, so they asked me why I had it, and I had to explain. Naturally they asked to see the winning picture and heckled that I was now a product model, jokingly saying that someday soon I’ll be modelling for Vidal Sassoon.

I told them, “If you think that picture is a ‘model’ pic, then you better brace yourselves for this.” Then I dug into my Facebook archives and showed them this pic:

A collective “WHOAAAA!!!” erupted from the group.

Followed by: “You look like Miss Philippines!”

LOL.

Speaking of winnings, did you know that I once won a BMW car? No, seriously, I did.

It was actually a toy car, but it was still made by BMW, and it was fully functional and could be driven around…. by a child. It had pedals like a bike. Haha! I actually won it from an event of theirs. It wasn’t so bad, I actually sold it for around S$400 and used the money to pay for a round trip plane ticket back home!
