I was in National Bookstore last Saturday and I was that they were having a sale so I went in and bought two books I’ve always wanted at 20% off — 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and The Secret.
The latter was listed in last month’s cosmo must-read list, so this was the first one I opened. After reading the first few pages, I was sold on the idea. According to the book, the secret to getting anything you want is by leveraging on the law of attraction. Everything that goes into your life was brought there through the power of your thoughts. The mind is the most powerful thing in the universe.
I was sold on the idea because it was the only thing that explained certain events in my life, like why I found myself in Makati or why I found myself in P&G.
Then as I was browsing through my old wish lists in my blogs so I would know what I would need to put up on my visualization board, my jaw dropped when I read my Christmas wish list in 2005. 9 out of the 10 in that list were now mine. Oh sure, most of them I bought myself, but during the time I wrote that, I thought it was impossible that I’d ever have them. If you don’t get me, please read the book – The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. It will make much more sense than I ever will.

ahahhahaha..it made sense to me too! pero it also had criticisms right? how the law of attraction is not exclusive to the good things you have, but also the bad situations you have. i forgot the link lang nga eh. hahaha

yep…exactly. it says you should not think of bad things so that you won’t attract those into your life. that was exactly what happened to me last friday. =.(
