Last Tuesday I got a pleasant surprise as I read Left and Write and found that Mark had passed on a Friends for the Journey blog award encouragement to lil ole me. Aww thanks Mark!
Another Clean Slate. I started following her when some of her entries made me go, “Hey, that’s exactly how I feel!” I never thought I’d ever have anything in common with a blonde in Boston, but looks like I was wrong. Kate’s blog is just a few months old but she already has lots of followers, so it looks like I’m not the only one who feels they can relate to her.
Brits in the USA. An irreverent take on all the many things in America that just aren’t cricket, written by David Macaulay. David is one of the funniest bloggers I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I frequently find myself laughing out loud when I’m reading something of his.
Buttercup Counts Her Blessings. Sometimes you get the frozen key lime pie on a stick and sometimes you just get the stick. I enjoy reading about New York through Carol’s eyes.
Checken Counter. Serving hot-off-the-grill and deep-fried musings for nourishment and delight. Bon appetit! You are welcome to take more than a bite. The author or “cook” Tupe is another one of my college classmates who found a home in the blogosphere.
Delightfully Ludicrous. Kellie is exactly as her blog title states, and informative too. She likes to write about news and adding her own hilarious observations about them.
Entirely Pam’s. My college classmate Pams takes amazing photos of her new home, Saskatoon.
Grammy’s News. Lura is a loving grandma whose blogs about her activities with her family, whether in California or Utah, always warms the cockles of my heart.
Here I Go With All My Thoughts. I love the way that Megan writes about her memories, it’s like reading a novel. She’s so detailed that I find myself imagining the scenes she paints with her words.
Hyperbole and a Half. Allie’s blog is so popular that I probably don’t even need to explain who she is to you. She writes about hilarious moments in her life and uses her own drawings to illustrate them. How a Fish Almost Destroyed My Childhood is hands down the funniest blog I have ever read, ever.
Indieberries. A blog filled with quirky cartoons, DIY crafts, epic gift-wrapping, snaps of Che’s life and travels, random lols and lots of papery-stationery things to lust over. I love her cartoons! They’re so funny.
Insert My Blog Name Here. Reluctantly 33. Unnaturally blonde. Funny-ish. Potty-mouthed. No internal filter. Barely used. Not for re-sale. Blood type: cava.
It Starts at the Beginning. I really love Juliette’s writing style, reading her blog is like reading a Chick Lit novel.
Jekert. A former colleague of mine chronicles his life in Manila as he dreams about eventually going back to his home town Cebu for good someday. Once in a while he suddenly has blogging marathons about Japanese and Korean shows and music.
Kiss and Tell. Pages full of fun and anything under the sun. My friend Dred ended up creating a blog while she was bored one day. Maybe someday she’d be bored enough to blog more often.
Late Night with Jesse. Or Chu, as I like to call him. This guy was my college classmate before we became flatmates in Makati, and he was hands down the most hilarious one in our class. His humor translates well onto his blog.
Left and Write. I really enjoyed Mark’s A to Z blogging challenge theme about obscure comic book characters. He likes to join blog hops and follows themes, and I love the different ways he takes on these challenges.
Life as I Know and Live It. Kris and I were former team mates but we didn’t really get to know each other very well until we discovered each other’s blogs, and this was when we were no longer working for the same company. Haha. Amazing what blogs can do. She likes to write about food, fashion, beauty, travel, movie reviews, and the funny things that come out of her son Joey’s mouth. In other words, basically just like my own blog except for that last part.
Lucy’s Reality. “Lucy”lives in two places, Ohio and Arizona.  She grew up and raised her family in Ohio. She now spends most of the winter in Arizona along with some other lovely times throughout the year too. I enjoy reading about her reality, especially her informative travel tales chock full of pictures.
Not So Little Women. This blog chronicles the lives of 4 sisters with totally different personalities and who are at different stages in their lives but remain to be the best of friends and each other’s comfort in this crazy happy sad weird world. Two of the authors, Chi and Ngangi, are my closest friends. I love keeping up with their lives through this hilarious, heartfelt blog.
Pass the Sour Cream. Somewhere between the Great Wall of China and a baked potato. Bradley likes to write about a myriad of things. I especially love the life lessons he imparts.
Random Detox. My high school classmate Flisha runs this blog with her boyfriend Gim. She was the one who encouraged me to create my blog in the first place. The pair likes to write about random stuff, from joyriding on a motorcycle through our hometown Zamboanga to getting their own apartment in Makati to Korean drama.
Scattergun Scribblings. A blog about writing. Nick writes and edges towards publication. I enjoyed his A to Z challenge fiction theme, a daily story about Acatour the angel. He writes reviews of books of other fellow writers too.
Silvia Writes. Life is a story. Might as well write it. Silvia’s love for reading and writing began with the endless winters in the Balkans. She now lives in sunny California where the reading and writing continues. Although far from the harsh winters of the Balkans, she sometimes misses the old library in Romania.
Tais-Toi. Life with Saffy and Amanda, and other Singaporean adventures. This guy writes a column for the Singaporean magazine 8 Days, and I love his funny anecdotes.
The Hungry Giant. A blog about the love for food and how an amateur cook tries to capture his love through words and pictures. Gio and I had the same hometown and the same high school class, but we have never met, thanks to an eight year gap.
Writer’s Storm. Brandon is a book author. I enjoy reading his Inspiration Friday blogs. Every Friday he finds a topic and gives three things from that topic that inspires him. This is not a favorites list necessarily, though they are some of his favorite things.

Dee, thanks so much. I think I've got some new blogs to visit. I had a great dinner with a blogger friend this week and I'll post about that tonight. One day I'll be back in Singapore — or somewhere in the vicinity — and we'll get to meet. No plans now, but I know Asia is on my list. Have a great weekend!

I'm glad I found your blog via D.L.'s blog blitz. Thanks for sharing all of these blogs. Many of them are new to me and some I already follow. I will definitely check out the ones that are new to me. I'm trying to sign up to follow your blog, but I can't find your google friend connect. It might be because I'm on my cell phone.
