Welcome to Singapore, Jefrey!

My college friend and former housemate Jefrey moved to Singapore a couple of weeks ago, so we decided to welcome him here by having a sleepover at his place the Saturday after. We were all former housemates in Makati, and it’s so fun to be together again under the same roof!

By his place, I mean his two-bedroom service hotel apartment which his company provided for his first month here, a relocation benefit. It’s really fabulous, don’t you think? And yes, I obviously had to take pictures of the entire place. Duh.

We had Popeye’s fried chicken delivered for dinner because it was Chinese New Year and a lot of places were closed. Jefrey’s former colleague Audrey, who now works in Malaysia, was also in town and hung out with us.

Gay had to leave early the next day, but in the afternoon, Tyne, another college friend, took her place.

Jefrey and I had lunch at the mall, where he tasted laksa, a Singaporean noodles dish. We then bought groceries and Moscato wine from a not-so-nearby mall and hung out at the hotel’s gorgeous pool side:

Cheers to reunions and friendships that are like wine – the older it gets, the better it tastes. 😉
