Kate @ Diaries of an Essex Girl is starting a weekly link up for bloggers who do recaps of their week, so I’m joining in today.
So here’s what you missed on Dee! (I said that like the voiceover for Glee. And I’m sorry but I really had to do the Photobooth picture below ala Glee.)
* Last Sunday I watched Divergent with my roommate and we loved him it.
* Barney and Robin finally reached the end of the aisle in this week’s How I Met Your Mother episode. I cried, but mostly because of Marshall and Lily, though. I cannot wait for next week’s finale! GAH. I hope I can handle the feels.
* I had to go on overtime on Tuesday night and got to go home at 2 am already. A couple of friends from 2 different parts of Canada IM’ed me to ask what I was still doing in the office at that hour. There were only four of us left in the entire floor, and it was so stuffy because they turn off the air conditioners and the lights at exactly 11:11pm. You can manually turn the lights back on though. The next day, my back hurt like crazy. #signsofaging
* Due to the late nights, our boss gave us permission to come in late, so I did, but had to miss lunches with my friends. My roommate informed me later that Jems said she missed having me around, that she thought I hadn’t had lunch with them the entire week when the truth is, I just skipped two. Well, I do feel flattered that I get missed! 😛
* My team mate Mei Ling bid farewell last Wednesday. She gave us cute personalised notes, muffins and Royce baton cookies, which are so delicious. We gave her a cheesecake and a card that I printed out with our group pictures. She gave a speech addressing each one of us in the team and when it was my turn, she said, “Heidee, thank you for always laughing.” When I laughed at that (proving that she was right, eeps!), she said, “Really, the team is happier because of you!” Oookay. I will miss this nice, pretty lady, though. She’s one of my girl crushes in the office, actually.
* One of my team mates got a haircut and he looks so different that I jokingly introduced myself to him as though he were a newbie. It was Thursday’s running joke and he just wouldn’t let it go.
* Tomorrow I am planning to watch Captain America, then interviewing a friend for a blog post. I am also celebrating my 9th bloggy birthday! I am planning to make a post about that, so please do come back here tomorrow! insert Puss in Boots eyes here
* I am also totes excited for A to Z challenge which starts next week. It must be the biggest blog hop of all time. 1,732 bloggers had signed up, the last time I checked. It’s not yet too late to join!
