***SYNOPSIS***
After a disastrous blind date, single parents Lauren and Jim agree on only one thing: they never want to see each other again. But when they each sign up separately for a fabulous family vacation with their kids, they are all stuck sharing a suite at a luxurious African safari resort for a week in “Blended,” the third comedy collaboration between stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. ***VERDICT***
I was afraid to watch this because of its abysmal ratings on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes, but since Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler’s last movie 50 First Dates is one of my favorite rom coms evah, I decided to give it a shot when my friend invited me to go see it.
I’m glad I did, because it was so hilarious. I was literally laughing out loud almost all throughout the entire film, and so were most of the people in the cinema. All the major characters had their funny moments, but I have to say that the funniest character award goes to an extra played by Terry Crews and his group of singers. Towards the latter part of the movie, I would just laugh whenever they showed up at the oddest moments, even before they did anything.
I also loved that they snuck in a cameo appearance by 10 second Tom, a character from 50 First Dates. Watch out for the guy who says the signature line “Hi I’m Tom!”
So if you’re looking for a laugh from a light, feel good movie, don’t be afraid to check this out.
Ratings: IMDB 6.1, Rotten Tomatoes 3.1

I haven't seen this yet but feel as though Sandler had lost his touch lately with Chuck and Larry and Jack and Jill so it's great that he's got his comedy mojo back!

How much like the movie "Just Go With It' is this film? They sound and look similar to me!

I haven't seen those films you mention but I heard that they're not good. Maybe rom coms are his element and not pure slapstick films.

It's pretty different. Just Go With It has another girl in it that he's trying to impress and he really wasn't into Jen and just used her to pretend to be his wife. While in this one, they actually dated first.
