My Favorite Clothes and Accessories

Skirt. I can’t say for sure that the Forever 21 hot pink houndstooth patterned skirt pictured above is my most favorite, but its style is. By that I mean I love pencil cut mini skirts because they look sexy, as they flaunt your curves.

Jeans. My favorite jeans are not actually jeans, but Uniqlo leggings that look like jeans. Why? Because they’re so much more comfortable than real jeans! I love bringing them when I travel because they’re a lot lighter to pack and a lot more comfortable to lounge around in during airplane flights. I easily get cold in planes so I need my legs covered, but don’t like the stiff fabric of real jeans, so this is a great find.
I was so happy when I learned that they were S$10 off if you download the Uniqlo app and show the coupon at the counter. They still have the sale until the 19th, so go grab yourself a pair! (I bought 2, 1 in dark blue, 1 in black.)

T-Shirt. I don’t really like wearing tees, so when they declared casual wear for like 3 weeks at the office, I wasn’t happy about it. There is, however, one tee that I don’t mind wearing, and it is this Sherlock-inspired shirt that I bought from Tee Fury. Not just because of Sherlock, my favorite TV show, but also because of the fabric. It’s so soft! And I love that it’s colored black because everyone knows that’s slimming.

Dress. Dresses are my favorite things to wear because they require the least amount of effort to put on yet doesn’t look it. My favorite out of my 27 dresses is this silk-like purple dress that I bought online sometime ago. I love it because it kind of looks like Kate Middleton’s famous engagement dress, but in my favorite color, and it looks really classy but it actually cost less than S$20. (Told ya I’m a cheapskate.)
Another favorite is an H&M hi-lo black cotton dress because even though it’s made of cotton, it looks fashionable and whenever I wear it, people compliment me on it.

Jewelry. Speaking of Kate Middleton, I have a semi replica of her engagement ring but in amethyst, because purple is my favorite color. It’s my favorite piece of jewelry, along with a Zara necklace she owns, which I also have because by now you must have realized that I really like Kate Middleton and also because I am a huge fan of statement necklaces because they really make an outfit pop.

Watch. For the longest time, since I started working, I have always wanted to own a Fossil watch, I don’t even know why, really. For other people it isn’t really that expensive, but I’m not other people (in other words I’m a cheapskate). But I finally decided to buy one last week when I saw a Groupon sale. It’s a silver watch with a pink rose face, it just looks gold in the picture because I need to work on my photography and editing skills.

Shoes. My favorite shoes are not shoes but slippers that look like sandals. Yes those “cork wedges” pictured above are actually slippers, Crocs, to be precise! Who would’ve thought I’d ever like Crocs? I love them because they are sooo comfy, as light as slippers. Just like dresses, they’re effortless yet don’t look it.
