Since it is Philippine independence day today, I’ve decided to share the recipe of one of the most famous dishes in our country which is also a favorite of mine.
Ingredients:
1 kilo pork or chicken or both
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup vinegar
1 clove crushed garlic
1 tablespoon salt
A pinch of MSG
Procedures:
Mix ingredients then marinate for 30 minutes.
Place in a pot with 2 cups of water.
Add salt and MSG.
Cook till only oil is left.
You may add salt or vinegar according to taste.
You may opt to add boiled eggs or pineapple.
Serve with rice, the Philippine way. Enjoy!
Let’s connect!

Ahh my ever favorite adobo! 😀 We don't add vinegar or soy sauce though. Just atsuete for the color and lemon grass 😀
