In other news…
I dropped by the halloween fair in Tampines and ended up buying a cute purple ID lace or badge holder. I really loved the Eiffel Tower detail! Then it turns out they handed out vouchers for free popcorn or candy floss for every $10 purchase, so I got myself some candy floss. I love these things. They always remind me of childhood and make me feel like a little kid again.
We were not asked to dress up in costume at the office this time, but they did have some decors and games, like ring toss on witch hats, pin the bow tie on the skeleton, and bobbing for apples. It was fun to watch the big bosses get sopping wet LOL.
By the way, our new big boss kinda looks like Steve Jobs. He was the one who hosted the event. Before the bobbing for apples (which he also took part of), he read out the names of all employees who had been with our company for 5 years or more, whose names were emblazoned on giant colourful cakes to celebrate them. The cakes tasted really delicious.
The previous weekend, we watched the movie Love, Rosie and enjoyed the beautiful couple (Lily Collins and Sam Claflin) and cute story before heading to my friends’ flat to pig out on free Domino’s pizza (which I got from winning over $200 worth of vouchers at this blogger event) and home made pasta.
Then we headed to a badminton court and played 6 rounds, 4 of which Nantoy and I won. Woohoo! They said I was the most improved player. I think it’s my stamina that improved, since I’ve been going to the gym lately.
It was the birthday of two guys in my team, so we got them a cake and surprised them in the pantry. Despite us being a small group, it was not easy to pull it off due to not everyone being available at the same time! We finally managed to get everyone together, though. I just realised that I am the only girl in my new group. LOL.
This weekend, I went out with my friends Armar and Arlyn to celebrate Armar’s Australian PR visa being approved. We went to Cake Love (detailed post to follow) then ended up walking around Bugis Plus where we played around in a Sephora hair event. Now I know what I’ll look like when I grow old and gray LOL. We capped the night with Taiwanese dessert.
