Let’s Face It {Review}

Whenever I’m in Manila there is one place I never fail to visit – Let’s Face It. I’m a sucker for their cheap eyelash perms and diamond peels.

This time was no exception, so after lunch with Flisha I headed to their Greenbelt 1 branch and booked sessions for the two services I mentioned in the previous paragraph.

I suppose the reason why they can keep their prices low is because they pay low overhead costs. They don’t have individual rooms for their sessions. They have multiple beds in one room instead.

The eyelash perm (P280) curls your lashes so you don’t need to use an eyelash curler, and I’m a huge fan of it because I have long but straight lashes. Once I have that done, I only need to use mascara and people think my lashes are fake, which in this case is a compliment because women love how falsies look.

The diamond peel (P500) removes your outer layer of dead skin cells to reveal new skin underneath. It’s like a power dose of exfoliation. I first tried this when I got so dark after a trip to the beach with no sunblock. One session later and my skin was back to its usual color. This time around I needed this to lighten my stubborn acne spots.

The next day, I found myself back in Let’s Face It but this time at another branch, in SM North. After a few hours of shopping for shoes and tablet cases with my parents, I thought we deserved a treat and gave their foot massage (P280) a try. This was my first time to try this at LFI and it was good.

They led us to another room with lazy boy chairs and curtains. They first soaked our feet in basins of warm water before massaging our feet. They threw in some reflexology and even a head and back massage.

I think Let’s Face It offers good quality affordable services and I look forward to visiting them for as long as they remain open.
