JC, our teammate from Australia, is here for a business trip, so last night, we took him to dinner at No Signboard so he could try their white pepper crab.
After dinner, we walked towards Merlion Park. I enjoyed the long walk because of the cool breeze and the great view.
There was a flag projected on Fullerton Bay, but they also had a full on presentation with 3D-like effects and music which transformed its facade into what it looked like 50 years ago then going through its transformations before finally ending as a giant birthday cake for Singapore. Really awesome stuff.
Marina Bay Sands was stunning, as usual.
This was at the center of the path between Esplanade and the Merlion Park.
I hadn’t seen this merlion in a long time. I used to see it several times a year when I was still new in SG and all my friends were coming over for trips. I guess almost everyone has come here by now.
My teammate read a post that said there are 5 merlions in SG. Now I realize we need to add 1 more to that list – the one in the airport. I’ve seen 4 (including the airport).
Here’s a pic of my team and our guests with Merly in the background.
