Yesterday my team used up our remaining budget for our quarterly outing and had dinner at MOF, a Japanese restaurant in Tampines One.
We ordered sashimi, oysters, teppanyaki, egg-based soup, and sake, both cold and warm. I prefer the cold one.
The teppanyaki came with its own grill. You had to cook the meat and veggies yourself and the set-up was kinda cute.
While we were there they noticed that a couple of waitresses were cute and told one of our guys, who is single, that he should go talk to one of them.
Then he had to leave first so he could buy something from a shop downstairs. While he was gone, I suddenly had a brilliant idea of leaving a note with this number on the table for the waitresses to find.
Of course we didn’t really leave it there! We just took a photo of it which I sent to our group chat, asking, “Shall we leave this on the table?”
Our VP then added: “Silence means consent!” knowing full well that he wouldn’t be able to reply immediately. 😂😂😂
“You probably did something good in your former life to deserve friends like us,” someone else said.
When he saw it later, he said, “God save me.”
Then he posted it on FB and tagged us. 😆
After that we drove to our teammate’s condo where she had booked the karaoke room which we then used to record the songs for our musical.
We had changed the lyrics of some songs to make it related to our company.
We are not great singers at all but who cares, it’s supposed to be funny, right?
When I got home I took one of the songs and attempted to make a karaoke type video with the lyrics for it and showed it to the guys. They were very happy with it.
