My friend Chi was vacationing in Taiwan recently and bought a bunch of beauty products that she loved so much, she wanted us to buy them, too – and specifically asked me to blog about them. The Opal 1 Minute Hair Treatment is one of them.
I happened to be scrolling through things on sale in my Shopee app that day, when I saw Opal on the list.
So I snapped up their 1 for 1 deal and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived quite quickly.
If you’re following me on Instagram stories, you might have seen the above last night. (Hint hint… Please follow me there!)
So I told Chi about it and she said: “Use it tomorrow, okay? Please take a bath!” 😂
I wondered how to use the product and tried to find instructions at the back – only to realize that they were all in chinese characters! So how?!? 😩
Then I remembered that you can use the Google Translate app for this, so I took a photo and…
Thanks, Google Translate! #sarcasm
Luckily I had one more lifeline – a whatsapp chatroom with Chinese boys. It’s not what you think. They’re my teammates, okay?
So apparently the instructions are simple enough – basically use this product like a conditioner, but leave it on for a full minute before rinsing off.
The next day, I did just that. The product is creamy, but not very thick. Just slightly thicker than shampoo, I guess.
It has a very strong fragrance, a perfume-like smell that lasts the whole day! I washed my hair 8 hours ago and I can still smell it. Will update if it lasts through the night!
But one more thing I noticed is aside from my hair smelling terrific, it feels terrific, too – very soft, shiny, and less frizzy. Look!!!
Doesn’t my hair look so soft and shiny?!? ☺️
Okay, maybe I didn’t need to take pics from all angles, but I kinda got carried away thanks to my new mobile ringlight and wide angle lens gadget which I need to blog about separately one of these days.
So just like Chi, I would like to highly recommend Opal 1 Minute Hair Treatment! You can buy it from this Shopee link.
