When I flew home to the Philippines earlier this month, my friend Chi let me stay at her house and brought me to the beautiful Tahanan Bistro in Antipolo for dinner one night.
Tahanan Bistro is a casual fine dining restaurant located on the hills of Antipolo, overlooking an expansive garden, forestry, and a view of Laguna de Bay. The dining area is set with floor to ceiling sliding doors, bringing the outdoors closer to you. [Source: their website]
The gardens are very beautiful, and so is the ancient looking mansion that is now the restaurant.
The indoors looks very pretty as well. The dining area has a cozy feel, and there is also a small museum that houses beautiful antique artwork.
As for the food, they have a five course menu worth P1,200 that changes every quarter. The food is really delicious. I especially enjoyed the delectable ube lava cake.
It’s definitely worth coming here for a special occasion! They have a booking-only policy and don’t entertain walk-ins, though, so I suggest visiting the Tahanan Bistro website to do that.
