Girl Gone International* organized Oysters and Bubbles Night at Shoreditch, a restaurant in Kennedy Town on the 18th, a Tuesday night.
It was a cold windy night, there was a typhoon signal 3. While walking from the MTR station to the restaurant, I was afraid I would blow away. 😅
The restaurant had a promo – for every $100 purchase, you could buy 6 oysters at $1 apiece. Apparently they are famous for their oysters because all of the women who came got loads of oysters. I ordered a sandwich and a glass of Pimm’s so that I could get a dozen oysters. They were pretty good!
I had fun eating oysters in a beautifully lit restaurant and getting to know a lot of women. I’m glad GGI exists because it makes it easy to not just meet new friends but also discover new restaurants I would otherwise not have gone to.
