Last Friday was the day of my third year anniversary in P&G, on the day that MSC had its sportsfest in Ultra. It rained really hard, but the games had to go on. So I participated in the boat race and tug of war and flag football and paintball. And to think I played no sport at all last year.
I got all muddied up in football and got hit twice in paintball. The first was on the mouth and the paint tasted icky. The second one hit me on my left thigh and it hurt bad and left a huge ugly-looking bruise. I played four paintball games and we won each one. I wasn’t able to join the championship round because I was stuck playing football.
In the end, the 11th floor guys, the “Cottoncandies” team in the pink jerseys, were the overall losers, and I was sweaty and muddy and sore and bruised but despite all that, incredibly happy.
