At the stroke of midnight, Cate greeted me a happy birthday. We were both still up, watching an episode of Grey’s Anatomy which was taking forever to buffer online.
Just then, Peter called me on YM. When I answered, the other trio of the furious five yell their greetings over cyberspace.
After awhile we bid goodbye, and it was Chu’s turn to call me on YM. After greeting me happy birthday, he asked me to tell him about what has happened so far on my birthday. “Chu, my birthday has only been 45 minutes long. So nothing has happened yet!” I replied, flashing a bemused look at Cate. “Oh…sorry I got confused. It’s only 11pm here.” I guess he thought my birthday was on the 6th. :-S
The next morning, after I had a luxurious warm shower, I went back to our room to find Cate’s birthday gift for me on our cabinet door. She told me to try it on and it fit so well, I ended up wearing the dress for the entire day.
Cate and I bought ingredients for spaghetti, fried chicken, and fruit salad at Fair Price and brought them over to Tyne’s place in Pasir Ris, where Gelle and Joey helped us cook them.
We then ate lunch with our newfound OFW friends while watching TFC on TV.
After watching ASAP there was a clamor for charades, so as usual I ended up hosting.
They enjoyed it so much that we had a part 2 out in the park. And a part 3, still out in the park, but this time with Peter as the host so I could join in the fun. My most favorite moment –> English! Movie! First word! Six! Six in the City?
We started the celebration at 11am and ended at 8pm. Its was a very typical OFW celebration. I very much enjoyed it. Thank you so much to everyone who made today a very happy birthday! ^_^
