What do you do when you have a sweet tooth that you want to satisfy but you know that you gotta eat a real meal to satiate your stomach’s basic needs and you only have 10sgd on you? You head over to Just Noodles. Despite the name, it does not serve just noodles, but all sorts of food from main courses to side dishes and desserts. What’s more, they offer set meals priced starting from S$5.90 with almost 20 food choices, and each set already comes with rice, soup, a small side dish, and bottomless drinks and ice cream. You can choose from a wide range of drinks – coffee, soft drinks, or iced tea, and from several flavors of ice cream, with chocolate chip as my best bet. My favorite main course choice is the deep fried chicken set. It has around 8 strips of very sumptuous chicken that don’t even need gravy nor ketchup. For background, I am not a fried chicken person. Fried chicken is at the bottom of my list of favorite chicken recipes. And if I do eat fried chicken, I can’t take it unless with a sauce of some sort. So for me to say that this fried chicken is good is saying a lot.
Just Noodles has a branch in Suntec City near the Fountain of Wealth, but they also have a branch named Just Acia above the Dhoby Gaut MRT station.
