Yesterday, I went to Chinatown with Cate and Chu, where I ended up trying the fish spa for the first time. I’ve always wanted to try it, but it’s expensive in other places. At a shop in second floor of People’s Park it only costs S$5 for 10 minutes, so I happily decided to give it a go.
The moment I plunged my feet into the glass tank full of doctor fish, they all zoomed in and started nibbling on my dead cells. It was so ticklish for the first few minutes, but after a while I got used to the sensation and no longer had to keep biting my lip to keep from laughing. The shopkeeper then told me that I could also plunge my hands into the tank infront of me, so I tried that as well. At the end of my session, my feet did feel really smooth.
After that, all three of us also tried the ion detox foot spa in that same shop. It cost us S$30 each for 30 minutes.
