Make Up Artist Me
Last Sunday, Yves was going to have her second batch pictorial for her 30th birthday and asked if I could do her makeup. Not sure why she thought I’d make a good makeup artist.
I told Yves that I had never put makeup on other people before, but I realized that wasn’t true. There was that night that Tintin and I broke out all our makeup and decided to paint Gelle’s face and came up with this:
So I told Yves, since my friends had just given me a brand new set of Suesh makeup brushes as a belated birthday present, this was the perfect opportunity to put them to use. I came up with this:
I realized how hard it is to put makeup on other people. Several times I had to ask Yves to do something herself, like wipe away something or put on lipstick. I’m too scared to hurt other people. I have new respect for makeup artists. Your job is so not for me. I don’t mind helping friends out, though. I’m glad Yves was happy.
