Austine in Istana

My high school and college classmate Austine visited his girlfriend Tyne (who is also my college classmate) in Singapore. Cate, Ervyn, Boom and I met the couple for dinner at Just Acia near the Dhoby Gaut MRT station. Unlimited drinks and ice cream!

Pasta for the night. I finally tried out their spaghetti aglio olio which I had been eyeing for a long time. Verdict: okay, but not their best dish. Their deep fried chicken and beef bulgogi are my faves.

Tyne’s worst nightmare. LOL.

Then Rodel and Monet showed up and we headed to Istana Park for a pictorial.

Funny experience on the way home in the MRT. A few minutes after sitting down, the girl sitting across Cate called her attention to ask if she was friends with me. She then tattled on her friend, the guy sitting between Cate and me, telling us that he had told her that he thinks I’m very sexy. I looked at the guy beside me and got confused because he was asleep. I told the girl so, and she said, “he’s just pretending.” She tried to rouse him, to no avail. Poor guy must’ve been so embarrassed. I feel for him! XD
