Some nights out last week.
Clarke Quay
It was Ervyn’s last week in Singapore, so LL thought of going on a night out in Clarke Quay. We had some drinks on the bridge before going inside Pump Room, which charges no entrance fee. We danced the night away and it felt so good that when Cate, Tatsie and I rode our cab, we couldn’t help but groove to the driver’s music. To our surprise, the driver danced and sang along with us, even head-banging to the music. Coolest cab driver and most enjoyable cab ride EVER!
Stripped with Alarice
Cate, Tatsie and I joined a text contest held by 98.7 FM and we each won 4 tickets to watch the performance of Singaporean singer-songwriter Alarice at St James Powerstation’s Bellini Room on Saturday night. We brought our Zamboangueño friends. Alarice had a beautiful voice that sounds a bit like Juris of MYMP. The program lasted less than a couple of hours so we had dinner at McDonalds and gossiped about the people back home as well as airing out our grievances as OFW’s. Had fun chatting with these guys, as always!
