I am flying home for the holidays, and normally nobody sends me off to the airport (hashtag single life) but my friends Arlyn and Armar insisted that they wanted us to have “one last meal together” this year and met up with me at the airport before my flight.
I arrived 3 hours before my flight but the line was already so long! I guess I should not have been surprised. Christmas is the most important holiday in the Philippines, therefore a lot of people choose to go back then.
After I had checked in, we walked towards a nearby cafe, but not before taking this picture with the merlion along the way.
We saw Krispy Kreme and decided to park ourselves there. They ordered red velvet and caramel cheesecake donuts, while I chose the more festive snowman one. We also had hot mochas, and I used a candy cane to stir mine so I had peppermint mocha! 😀
After I had taken a bite of my snowman and remarked that its strawberry filling looked like blood, Armar remarked that I needed to remove my iphone cover because it would now have something else to store it in, which earned a confuaed look from me. He then took out this package from inside his bag.
“You have to take a picture of each layer,” he said. Oookay. I did but I’ll jump to the last layer coz I’m running out of time.
It was a Coach wristlet!! OMG I totally did not expect this. I’m so touched. 😢
I had asked if they could buy me a wristlet (which I intended to pay for) when they go to Europe because a bird had pooped on the one I own now. Yep, that actually happened. :-/
Then we had a pic with giant Mickey and Minnie with clothes made up of flowers.
Have fun back home!
What a generous gift! And yum to Krispy Kreme- those are always so good!
I did, thank you!
I agree with you on both counts. 🙂
