Pink Parlour {Review}

Established in 2005, Pink Parlour entered the grooming scene in Singapore as the rebellious counterpart of day spas in a hip and groovy setting amidst party establishments along Mohammad Sultan.

Dominating the waxing and grooming scene in no time, Pink Parlour set itself apart from the competition – having pioneered premium services such as top-of-the-line Brazilian wax treatments, its distinct specialty in male waxing and spray tanning offerings in Southeast Asia.

Over the past few months, I’ve tried a few of the services of Pink Parlour, specifically at the Capitol Piazza branch. The place is really swanky and super Instagrammable, so if you are planning to get hair removal or a manicure or a pedicure or a spray tan or spray fair, I suggest booking it at this place so you can get some nice photos and a cup of Tiger Sugar boba milk tea afterwards. The Pink Parlour ladies also give really great service, and I always enjoy visiting the place because they welcome me so warmly.

Spray Fair

I’m sure you’ve heard of spray tan, but I didn’t know that there’s also a thing called spray fair, which makes sense in Asia, where a lot of people want to look fair instead of tan.

If you get a spray fair session at Pink Parlour, you get the following benefits instantly, which lasts 3-5 days:

Manicure & Pedicure

I didn’t know that Pink Parlour offered manis and pedis until I saw their pretty mani pedi salon area.

I booked my session at the same time as Honey of Little Miss Honey, so that I could finally get to meet my fellow Filipino blogger in person.

It’s always fun to meet Internet friends in person!

Ate Jenny and Cilia, the friendly Pink Parlour ladies, suggested that I put colourful glitter on my nails so they would be festive, in time for Christmas.

Underarm and Brazilian Wax

Famed for its hair removal solution, Pink Parlour was the first to introduce the use of gloves, no double dips and anti-bacteria fumigation – setting industry standards experienced across the island today. I’ve saved my favourite service for last: Alpha or IPL Hair Removal. I’ve tried underarm IPL before, and I hated how painful they were.
