I’ve been letting myself go this year despite my so-called new year’s resolution and gained some a lot of weight. Since my self confidence is indirectly proportional to my fats, let’s just say that sometimes it feels like High School all over again for me.
I’ve been putting this off for so long now, always saying the famous words: “I’ll start tomorrow” whenever I’m confronted with a bar of chocolate or a slice of cheesecake or a handful of potato chips.
If I keep procrastinating, though, I’d end up being the fattest bridesmaid in Gelle’s wedding next year and I would not want to wear a shawl to cover up my fats like I did at Arni’s wedding, not when it’s my first time to ever become a bridesmaid.
Yeah I know it probably seems ridiculous to want to go to so much trouble for something like that, and for something that’s a year away.
But did you know that Hugh Jackman worked out for a year for his role as Wolverine? If Hugh can be that disciplined with the right motivation, well so can I.
And it starts today. Not tomorrow, but today!
Whoops… gotta start shutting down then. Today I’m also supposed to start sleeping early so I can wake up early as well!

Hugh is a freak of nature. Same goes for Christian Bale. They can inflate/deflate anytime they wish. <br /><br />p.s.<br /><br />just stumbled here today and I’ve been reading your posts (even the old ones) for almost an hour now…its interrupting my work! lol.

i am a water person but the prob is i drink the water after. by then it’s too late, i’m already full! hahaha. you’re right maybe i ought to drink water before the meal or in between bites.<br /><br />btw, interesting tidbit: people in Singapore can actually eat meals without drinking anything. 😮

hahaha…<br /><br />btw, you might want to try this mantra that made me lose 25lbs last year…<br /><br />when eating – drink lots of water. simple as that. cuz it makes you feel full 10 mins into your meal. hehe.
