Geocities is closing. The end of an era. I wonder if there will come a time that Blogspot will, too? God I hope not. Anyway, I never had a Geocities site, but my friend Flisha did. I remember how zip.to/flisha was one of the sites I always visited whenever I had a chance to rent a PC. Before it gets taken down, I decided to have one last look-see and save some me-related entries. I saved the high school class prophecies at our Berchmans ’99 blog.
The official one, called Class Prognostication, says this about me:
2. Heidee: after being exposed to too much fairy tales, Heidee developed the idea that Snow White, Sleeping Beauty; Pocahontas, Belle and Ariel were deluded princesses. She firmly believed that they did not live happily ever after because they all married the same guy — Prince Charming. She was so intense in her discovery that she’s now in the Supreme Court vying to buy the rights to re-edit these literary works.
The unofficial, unpublished one also related me to books:
Meanwhile, Lyn’s best friend Heidee is based in China, where she owns the largest library in the world. It is one of the few structures on the earth that can be seen from space without the aid of a lens. This fact was discovered by the first Philippine austronaut, Elma, who is often out in space making sure that the Philippine satellites are not in any danger of destruction.
Below are pictures taken during my College freshman year.
