So Kes asked her bridesmaids to choose dress designs that they like so that she can show it to her designer tomorrow. As a result, Gelle and I were busy poring over dresses on the web and sharing links to each other every once so often.
“I’m just on page 16 of 234 pages, and I’ve seen only one that I’ve liked. Waaahhh!” Gelle complained. Just then she sent me a link. “Look! This is so you!!! It’s purple and looks like your dress with the wooden circle!”
“Err… no thanks,” I replied. “Why does the hole have to be there??”
“I just remembered your blouse with the wooden thingie,” she laughed. Back in P&G, that had been everyone’s favorite blouse on me.
“I liked the first one you sent, the one you picked for yourself,” I said. “At least we now have one each.”
“Yeah but I worry that by the time I reach page 234, I will have more than 3 choices,” she typed. Just then she sent another link. “What do you think Keso’s reaction would be if I said this is the dress I want?”
“I think she would be bothered,” I laughed. “Ooh, Greek costumes! Take a look!”
“Ooh I love that first dress!” Gelle exclaimed. “Wish I had the legs to pull it off.”
“I know, right?” I agreed. “Do you think Kes would be bothered if I said I want my dress to be like that third one?”
“Hmmm, she did ask us what we really wanted,” Gelle surmised.
“I think she wouldn’t mind that so much as this one,” I said, giving her another link.
“I’m sure that Kes will definitely be bothered by that,” Gelle laughed.
In the end, I picked these three dresses. The first one really blows me away though I probably can’t pull it off. The design of the second one suits me though I don’t like its color and cloth. I was actually searching for a corset-type dress and the third one was the best I found, though I’m not happy with the shiny bodice. I love the fluffy “cotton candy” skirt though. In the end, it’s all up to the designer and the overall theme which Kes has yet to decide on.
P.S. Would you judge me if I say that I like this ensemble?
