After months of waiting and waiting and waiting some more, I finally couldn’t wait any longer for my hair to grow longer and decided to get a digital perm last Wednesday. I visited my favorite salon, Kizuna. It’s my favorite because their services are cheap yet of good quality.
The salon girl put some chemicals in my hair, let it sit for some time, then washed it off before strapping my locks to this alien contraption.
The end result? Tada!
I love it! The funny thing is that it made my hair look longer instead of shorter. I mean, here I spent all that time growing out my hair because people kept telling me that perming it will make it look shorter – and the opposite happens. It baffles me and all my friends. The first time I saw my hair, the first thing that crossed my mind was, did I get extensions?
I love it and save for one guy colleague who said it looked dead and lamented that my straight hair looked good on me, so does everyone else. In fact when I met up with my friends to watch Prince of Persia last Friday, Yves greeted me with, “Bakit ganyan itsura mo? Nagmukha tuloy kameng katulong.” LOL! But maybe it was also because of my outfit. It’s not a coat, it’s a wraparound dress that looks like it belongs in cold weather but really doesn’t, as it’s made of thin, lightweight material. Got it at 50% off from Bysi.
