To be honest, I didn’t really like kids all that much as I found them too troublesome. But I changed my mind (or heart?) once I had a niece. I haven’t actually met her yet but I saw her pictures, how she looks like the spitting image of my brother when he was a baby, and my heart just melted.
So this week when we had house guests including a little boy, I was ready. I didn’t really need to ready myself though because this kid was just too adorable not to like. He is Justin, my roomie’s bestfriend’s kid. They came on vacation here from London. Justin isn’t exactly an amicable sweetie to all strangers but is rather choosy whom he allows to coddle him, resulting in these funny exchanges:
Tatsie: Justin, come, hug Tita Tatsie.
Justin: No way.Shi (his mom): Justin, why are you staring at Tita Dee? Do you think she’s pretty?
Justin: No!
Kids are just way too honest. LOL!
