We were supposed to have a “New Year kringle” last January but it kept on getting moved due to one reason or another until last Friday we pushed through with it even though only five of us could make it in the end because we had gotten stuck at work. We went to my favorite KTV place, Partyworld Ktv at Nex mall. I had asked the people to think of a song that they think is suited for the one whose name they picked and sing the song for her before handing her gift. My gift was for Farrah but she couldn’t come, so I wasn’t able to sing “Song for Mama” for her. I was so touched by the song Jemma picked for me though – “One Friend.” (Just between you and me, I got teary-eyed but refused to cry because they tease me for my shallow well of tears, haha.) I also loved her present – Nicholas Sparks’s latest book. Thanks so much Jem! ^__^
We sang and danced a lot, and yelled I love you to Nick Carter several times LOL. We had fun despite there being just few of us, though. And the funny thing is, the people who ended up going are the same people who were together last Monday – when I dropped by these girls’ new flat and officially became their first guest. Haha!
