Tyne’s Angels

Tyne decided to honor her “angels here on earth” by changing her Facebook profile picture to theirs and describing them in the caption. It resulted to a bit of confusion for her friends, but her gesture was touching. And her description of me is one of the best ones I’ve ever had.

Cate – To me she is a woman of strength. She can slip all her emotions inside her pocket and no one may ever be aware of them. It takes someone who has the gift to actually listen to what she is not saying to know her fully. Often, people know her to be always speaking her mind out all the time and would even do so on behalf of her friends – the spokesperson. Ironically, when she thinks deep and feels hurt she sometimes opt to keep things to herself. She is independent and knows what she wants most of the time. I see her as a thoughtful friend, sweet ditse and a loving daughter.

Thanks Cate for everything! All the BEST! mwahugs!
Dee – To me is Energy personified. Packed with all the zest for life, she can be infectious most of the time. She has all the wackiest ideas on anything. She can turn a lifeless party into a cheerful one. She’s gifted with an extraordinary ability of expressing herself through all sorts of media I guess. She can sell anything with her insidious words. She is witty, independent and fearless in venturing into new things. Nevertheless, she is not afraid to show her true emotions. Fragile. A thoughtful and caring friend. Greatest weakness and strength – Love.

Alu dee! Cheers to Oliver! He’d be one lucky guy! 🙂

“ALU” is Tyne’s way of saying “I love you.” Oliver, meanwhile… okay let me explain. I finally got around to watching the first episode of How I Met Your Mother last week. Ted is in search of the woman whom he’d eventually love and marry, and included in his list of ideal traits that she must have is that she must hate olives. This is because he believes in the “olive theory” – he loves olives, so his perfect partner must be someone who can’t stand them so that she would have him eat them instead. His bestfriend Marshall hates olives and his fiancee Lily loves them, and this, in his opinion, is what makes them a great couple – perfect balance. I thought this was cute because coincidentally, I hate olives and always pick them off my food. So I need a guy who loves olives – and what better name to give him than Oliver? 😉
