I can’t believe it! I actually managed to register a Pottermore early access account tonight! It all began when I logged into www.pottermore.com and I saw this:
Knowing what little time I had, I hurriedly opened a new browser and typed the answer at the end of the web address as instructed: 420. I was rerouted to the the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park website. I had seen it before, so I knew that the floating quill, reminiscent of the “wingardium leviosa” chant, that I now saw on the left hand side of the page was not a usual fixture on that site. I chased after the feather with my mouse and managed to click on it. I was told that I had successfully found the site and could now register. Scarcely believing my luck, I filled in all the blanks and then I saw this:
Then they asked me to choose a username from a list, and I couldn’t make up my own, so I had to make do. If it had been entirely up to me I would have come up with something like SiriuslyIntoHarry or something like that.
It was just in the nick of time too. Right after I clicked yes on everything that needed it, I opened another browser to sign Gelle up too, and I was greeted by this:
Can you believe it? It’s like I took some felix felicis tonight! Last night I was quite the unlucky one, though. I actually set my alarm at 2 am so I could wake up for day 5 but by the time I woke up, day 5 was already closed. I can’t believe these people! (Yeah right… am I not one of “these people” that I’m talking about?) I was planning to do the same tonight but thank goodness they opened day 6 earlier. So now I can actually go to bed and have enough sleep for our team outing in Universal Studios tomorrow.
So anyway I received my validation email, clicked through and finally got this message:
So so excited. And so so happy. Can’t wait! But meanwhile, I’ll get back to the books. I’ve been rereading the series lately, and I’m currently in the middle of book six. Ciao, gotta get back to finding out about horcruxes! 🙂
