We had our quarterly team dinner at Meritus Mandarin Hotel’s Triple Three. It was my first time there and they had quite an impressive range of food in their buffet – Japanese, Indian, Singaporean. Take a look for yourself.
As you can imagine, it was quite hard to choose what to eat. I finally settled on my first plate:
And had a side of salmon sashimi:
Everything was delicious, especially the sauerkraut. I just love sour food.
For my second trip I had these:
Not really a fan of any of the desserts. The ice cream had liquor in it, the creme broule was not sweet enough, and the chocolate mousse was too sweet. Everyone was like: “What, desserts? So you’re done eating already??? Why???” And I had to calm them all down by explaining: “It’s okay, I can always eat main courses again after desserts, I don’t really follow the conventional order of eating.” Which I don’t. In fact I had some chili crab, salmon and sauerkraut after that. Yes I fell in love with the sauerkraut.
Here’s a picture of everyone:
While it was a wonderful dinner, I would’ve enjoyed something else for a team outing, like laser tag, maybe? But oh well.
