After running errands and doing some shopping, Dred and I decided to have an early dinner in Ion Orchard yesterday. Our original plan was to dine in Popeyes but because we are who we are, we ended up eating somewhere else. Haha.
Our plan first got derailed when we were en route to Daiso (basement 4) to look for an iphone 5 charger because Dred had left hers in the office and of course this was a big problem. Haha. I actually laughed when she first told me about it and said that it called for a first world problem meme:

So as I was saying, on the way to Daiso, we passed by Awfully Chocolate and who could resist that display case? Turns out Dred had never tried my favorite super stacked chocolate cake with hei ice cream combo, so I said she absolutely had to have a taste. And so we went back to order one after we had been to Daiso (where there were no iphone 5 chargers yet, btw).

We then made our way to Popeyes in second floor but on the way to the escalators we passed by Bonchon, and we changed our mind. Women! Haha.

While Dred queued up to buy our food, I went inside to make sure we had a table because the ice cream was starting to melt. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that Bonchon expanded its area, but I’m really glad they did, because they have so many customers and used to be difficult to find a table in there. I easily found a table this time but it was so littered with the previous occupants’s junk. It was a table for four though, so I just pushed everything to the other table.

Dred got us some crispy soy chicken with seaweed fries. Now the really awesome thing about Bonchon 4 Fingers chicken is how crispy the skin is. It’s so good, seriously, that I bet even Popoy from the movie One More Chance, who doesn’t eat chicken skin for its high cholesterol, will probably make an exception when he tastes it.
