I think this quote from the TV show Grey’s Anatomy is the best insight I’ve found on the subject of pursuing happiness.
In other words, as the words on my notebook says:
Sometimes we keep searching for that elusive “happiness,” thinking that we can’t be happy until we’ve reached a certain goal, or moved a to a certain place, or found the love of our life, like our main protagonist Ted Mosby in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother. He wants to find her, the woman whom he would spend the rest of his life with. 8 seasons later, he still hasn’t found her, and he and the televiewers are beginning to get annoyed. Where is that damn woman? WE JUST WANT TO MEET HER ALREADY!!
Hold on, folks. In the words of that show’s character Robin Scherbatsky:
I know you want to meet her and see how it all ends but in the meantime, aren’t you enjoying the episodes leading up to that moment? So why can’t you just enjoy that and stop being so impatient?
(At this point I’m not really sure if I’m still addressing the televiewers and talking about How I Met Your Mother or speaking to, well, myself, about the sitcom that is my life. Haha!)
Speaking of joy in journeys, I am really enjoying myself in this A-Z blogging challenge! This is the first time I’ve joined a blog hop challenge and it has been so lovely to meet and make new blogger buddies. Since it’s day 10, let me share 10 new blogs I discovered almost halfway through this A-Z journey. Hop over to their blogs now! 😀

This post is part of the A to Z Challenge, a blog hop that goes through the alphabet for all the days of April except Sundays. I have decided to go with the theme of Alliterations.
