Lucy of Lucy’s Reality has tagged me in the blog meme 5 Things That Make Me Happy. Even before she tagged me, I had already thought of answering it, so thanks for reading my mind, Lucy! π
So anyway, here’s my list:
(1) A delicious dish. If you’ll glance over at the sidebar, you’ll notice that the biggest tag, next to journal, is food. Food makes me happy. Filipino and Italian cuisine are my favorites, and desserts are divine for me, but I like most food, really! #thisiswhyimfat #iwishhashtagsworkedinblogs

(2) Retail therapy. What girl doesn’t like shopping, eh? I love to shop for clothes, shoes, accessories, makeup, and totally random cute stuff that catch my eye.

(3) A great story. This could be in any medium – movie, TV show, book, blog, word of mouth, first-hand experience. I like telling them, too. That’s why this blog exists, yo! π
Why hello there, Tony Stark! You definitely make me happy! π |
(4) A beautiful view. This isn’t difficult to find, actually! Sometimes all I have to do is look up. I am a huge fan of the blue sky. Whenever it turns a gloomy gray, it affects my mood too. So beautiful view = beautiful blue sky = happy me. Awful view = gloomy skies = sad me. Hey, why didn’t I realize this before? Totally explains a lot!
Blue skies don’t make me blue |
(5) Creative endeavors. As someone who uses her left brain for a living, I get really excited whenever I get a chance to exercise my right brain. That is why, again, this blog exists (yo!) and also why I like to make videos or newsletters or ebooks for friends’ birthdays or farewell parties or weddings. And coincidentally, one more thing that makes me happy is making other people happy, which is the effect of those aforementioned creative endeavors. Just in case you’re curious, I’ve put all the stuff I’ve come up with in my “portfolio” blog which you can check out over atΒ {HEiDEAS}. It’s not updated though.
And now it’s my turn to tag people to play this game! Guys, I choose you!
(1) Another Clean Slate
(2) Checken Counter
(3) Here I Go With All My Thoughts
(4) Kiss and Tell
(5) Left and Write
Participation is entirely optional, so don’t feel pressured to answer this, okay? π
If your name is not on the list but you want to play, please please please do so!

All great choices … really can't go wrong with any of these. I'd even pair up reading a good story while eating a good meal … for fun. π

Cool post as always Dee – have never tried Filipino food – is it like Thai? There is much to be said for skyscapes…
Dee says
I hope you'll be able to try it at least once in your lifetime. It's not really like Thai. Maybe more like malay but richer in taste. Filipinos don't like bland food so others might complain that our food is too salty or too sweet.
