Our company has a corporate account from Mad Jack, so we often order dinner there when we have to go on OT. My favorite order is the swan river chick. No it’s not a real swan, though we did wonder if it was at one point because of the size of the chicken leg which swims in a delicious brown sauce with potatoes and carrots. It’s really HUGE! It is accompanied by two side dishes – mashed potatoes with gravy and steamed corn on the cob with broccoli and carrots. Now do you see why I love this meal?

When I’m way too busy to eat properly and need to eat right in front of my desk, I opt for the mad wings. It’s just fried chicken wings but it’s so crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside that it really hits the spot.

Now while other colleagues may order slices of cakes for dessert, I usually opt for the healthier yet more delicious broccoli strawberry salad which has yoghurt for its dressing. It also has lettuce and peaches and raisins (which I pick out because I can’t stand them). It’s so yummy that my normally non-salad-eating friend Jemma ended up finishing it all up the first time she tried it! And it was my order, mind. XD

I tried this the broccoli strawberry salad, though the label strawberry should be crossed out and replaced with peaches because there were more peaches than the berries. I love the fruity taste! Peaches, i was never a fan but now I am! 😀
