To the one for me,
Where are you?
It’s funny because you know how patience has never been my virtue, and there you are taking your own sweet time in finding your way into my life. I suppose this is your way of making me learn something. I don’t know if that it will work, though, but then again, what could I do but wait?
If only I had the resources of Jennifer Cox, I would do what she did and embark on a journey around the world to find you.
As it is, I am currently stuck in Singapore, telling myself that it is only a matter of time before I can leave and go to where I would be within your reach, which brings me back to my first question: where are you?
Are you in Paris, London, or New York, the top three places I want to visit before I die?
Are you here somewhere right now, in this little island of a country, and I don’t need to travel to find you and just have to stay put?
Or, in true Alchemist fashion, are you back in the Philippines, right in my own backyard?
But that question isn’t even the most important one I want answered. I want to know how we would fall in love. What would our meet-cute be? I hope it’s blogworthy! What do you do for a living? What is your nationality?
I have absolutely no clue about those things, but there is one thing I do know – whoever you are, I am sure that you are smart, kind, quick to laugh, and that we can talk for hours on end without getting bored.
I have no doubt that you would turn out to be everything I ever and never thought I wanted, the one person I can sing the song “I could not ask for more” to. No, you won’t be perfect, but perfect-for-me. Not the one who completes me, but the one who complements me.
I get so excited thinking about finally meeting you. And you know what? I realize that all this waiting you’re having me do, it will be worth it… because the prize is you.
#Blogtember prompt: Write a public love letter to someone in your life. (Ooops… okay so he’s not yet in my life but oh well!)
