Today’s Travel Tuesday post will be short and sweet… as sweet as ice cream that resembles some of the rock formations we saw in Taiwan! 🍦
On our third day in Taiwan, we booked a half day tour which included a van, our own driver, and an English speaking tour guide who was way too chatty for our liking. I mean we like friendly people but he seriously just didn’t know when to stop talking! 😮
Our first stop was Nanya, a scenic spot at the Northeast Coast. It was very cool and windy there, and our matchy-matchy Forever 21 pink faux leather jackets were perfect for that weather!
We were so giddy with delight because we had been looking for an excuse to wear them! We all live in tropical countries and wearing leather jackets were just in our dreams until then. Talk about shallow dreams, LOL! 😂
Actually our pink jackets matched the rock formations too! Look!
So do those rock formations look like ice cream to you? Some people say so! I guess it sort of kind of does? Maybe?
We also passed this place overlooking the ocean:
As well as these beautiful falls:
Oh boy, I suddenly miss that cool weather! I totally can’t get away with wearing leather jackets here in tropical Singapore! I’ll just look on in envy as women in other countries welcome fall in the most gorgeous coats and cool weather wear! (le huge dramatic sigh)
Don’t you just hate it when your own blog gets you craving? Like writing about food makes you hungry, and reminiscing about your own travels give you wanderlust? It’s not just me, is it? Guys? Yoohoo?

Matching jackets?! This is absolutely awesome! <br />I can't really see the ice cream resemblance, but I'll take your word for it 😉

I'll tell you a secret – I don't see it either! But that's how people describe them!
