{Letters and Links} New Domain, Christmas Cards, & Food Coma

Dear Readers,

Notice anything new?

What do you think of my new domain? I actually owned deecoded.com a couple years ago but I stupidly gave it up when I thought I wouldn’t really blog that much anymore, so now if I want it back I have to pay $400+ for it because it has become a premium name. No way am I gonna cough up that much though for this, so I had to think of a new domain to go with. I wanted a .com but didn’t want to completely change my name and confuse everybody, so here’s what I came up with.

And oh by the way, who wants to swap Christmas cards? Leave a comment or email or reply to below tweet! 🙂

Dear Cel,

Thanks for inviting me to lunch the other week! I loved talking about your wedding in Paris and look forward to your guest post about it on my blog! Also, thank you so much for that bar of Roman chocolate, it was such a pleasant and delicious surprise. Just like the papaya soup I tried out for our lunch.

Dear Starbucks,

Thank you for the Christmas flavors! I had my first red cup last Sunday, and I really enjoyed sipping the peppermint mocha while surfing the internet in my ipad mini. I wished I had brought my laptop, it felt so good to hang out there. A few days later, I had the toffee nut latte as well. I will definitely collect my free coffee from you soon.

But can I just say that your planner is too big and unappealing? That leather cover looks too dated and the pages inside are too thin and boring. The planners in the Philippine Starbucks are a lot prettier and “younger” looking.

Dear Camille,

Thanks for treating the team to dinner at Table Manners last Tuesday! Congrats again on the promotion. The cajun chicken I ordered was delicious but the side order of truffle fries didn’t taste like it had any truffle oil at all. Look at how cute Raw looks with the “bowtie” napkin on. (Yes it was totally my idea, obviously.)

Dear VP,
Thanks for treating the whole team to lunch at that Japanese place with a hard to remember name last Thursday. Their servings are so huge that I didn’t even finish everything on my giant bowl of soup spaghetti. But perhaps that was the fault of eating way too much salad beforehand. I was able to finish my entire slice of chocolate cake afterwards, though. You always have room for dessert! It has a separate compartment  in the stomach. We all had food coma afterwards.
