I am a huge fan of postcards and handwritten letters. Since snail mail is a dying art, they have become more valuable to me, and I even once postulated a theory that someday, they might become so valuable that they will be held in museums and people will want to steal them and fence them on the black market. (I know. I watch too much White Collar.)
I think the reason why people don’t like to send postcards as much as before is because they have their own cameras and wish to proudly share their own photos with their loved ones, instead of using a generic postcard that was taken by someone else.
Well guess what? You can have the best of both worlds. Introducing – the personalized postcard!
Here’s how it works!
First, visit this website using your computer or smart phone.
Click on the yellow “SEND NOW” button and you will find yourself on a page that allows you to upload your very own photo. Click on the “Choose your photo” and find the photo on your computer.
Once done, it will show up on your screen. Then you can write your own message for your intended recipient on the white space below the picture.
Below that space, click on the sign that says “click here to add your signature” and voila! You can actually sign your name using your own handwriting, for a personal touch! So cool, right? Just pardon my handwriting, though, I used a trackpad so it looks kinda wobbly. (Excuses, excuses! Why can’t I just admit that I have an awful scrawl? I should’ve been a doctor!)
After you’re done signing off, you then fill out the information of your intended recipient.
You will then be asked to make a payment using Paypal or credit card. Rates depend on where you will be sending your cards. Afterwards, your postcard will be sent! So simple!
If you don’t manage to snap up a free one, though, I do hope you still try out their business, because it seems like a really great idea, don’t you agree?
Disclosure: I received the featured product for free. All opinions are my own.Â

That is really fun, I have a small collection of postcards on our fridge and I love seeing them and thinking how someone thought of me when they were away!

That's a great souvenir idea, so cheap and easy to store (unlike mugs, which some friends of mine collect).
