On a flight headed from New York to London, US federal air marshal Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) gets text messages on his secure line phone stating that someone on the plane will die every 20 minutes unless $150 million is transferred to a specific account.
“I don’t know who you are, but I will find you, and I will kill you,” he replies. No wait. Wrong movie.
He does do that, though. Oops, spoiler alert. But did you really think that wasn’t going to happen?
Which reminds me of this joke:
Anyway, back to this movie.
When the text messages appeared onscreen, I said, “Sherlock??” Because that’s how they do it in the TV show.
We then spent the rest of the movie trying to be Sherlock in trying to guess who the culprit was. We ended up accusing everyone, including Bill Marks himself. 😮
The movie is quite a good thriller, most of which happens inside the plane. Not as gripping and full of action as his other movie Taken, but also worth a watch.
Let’s connect!
I was so captivated by the movie Taken it was so good so I will have to give this one a chance even if it isn't as good as Taken.
I miss Sherlock 🙁 But, on a complete side note I have found a most excellent series called "True Detective" It makes me salivate with it's brilliance. I shall give this movie a go, Dee 🙂
Liam makes good movies!
I miss Sherlock too! And he's not coming back until 2016! *gross sobbing*<br />Ooh, that sounds interesting! Will look it up stat!
Initially I thought it was the NYPD, then Jen who insist on window seat, then stewardess. Did not even take second look on the two actual culprits. #sherlockmomentfail
We had the same suspects! So wrong.
