On a flight headed from New York to London, US federal air marshal Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) gets text messages on his secure line phone stating that someone on the plane will die every 20 minutes unless $150 million is transferred to a specific account.
“I don’t know who you are, but I will find you, and I will kill you,” he replies. No wait. Wrong movie.
He does do that, though. Oops, spoiler alert. But did you really think that wasn’t going to happen?
Which reminds me of this joke:
Anyway, back to this movie.
When the text messages appeared onscreen, I said, “Sherlock??” Because that’s how they do it in the TV show.
We then spent the rest of the movie trying to be Sherlock in trying to guess who the culprit was. We ended up accusing everyone, including Bill Marks himself. 😮
The movie is quite a good thriller, most of which happens inside the plane. Not as gripping and full of action as his other movie Taken, but also worth a watch.
