7 Dresses

Have you seen these photos floating around the internet? They’re so cute! A mom and her four-year old daughter make dresses using paper and other art materials, then post them on Instagram. Sometimes they make copycats of famous ones too. Here are my seven faves.

When I saw these, you know what I thought? — If I had a daughter someday, I am SO doing this! 😛
You see, when I was a child, Barbie dolls were my most favorite toys EVER. I loved to sew dresses for them. I even used to cut up some my own clothes just for this. Needless to say, my mom wasn’t pleased about that.
Sometimes I still play “fashion designer” though. Like take a look at how I turned an ordinary scarf into a dress.
And now I have the sudden urge to buy a doll and some needles and thread. Somebody stop me.

 1. Love that you made a dress foom a scarf.
I'd love to do something like that but all of my scarfs are thin and sorta kinda… see-through!
I read an article on the mum and daughter and it's such a cute thing, apparently mum isn't into fashion at all and though her daughter would get bored but it's been going strong for months! Such a great bonding activity x
