Sometimes I wish I could travel all the time. Unfortunately, my circumstances cannot allow that. But luckily, even when I have to be homebound and deskbound, the internet still allows me to travel… via other bloggers.
Today I have the pleasure of introducing one such person, an American who lives all the way in Brisbane, Australia – Emily from EAT ALL OVER THE WORLD.
Emily is a small town girl who wants to explore the world one memory at a time. After she got married, she was blessed with the initials EAT, so that was where she got the idea for her blog name, which I think is quite clever!
She created her blog so people can journey with her and her husband from packing up their house, moving overseas, traveling all over Australia and Asia, furnishing their house cheaply, and making memories together.
They recently travelled to Cambodia (where they went parasailing) and Bangkok, Thailand and I love all the gorgeous photos they took! But what I like best about this couple is how fun they seem to be, which I got from Emily’s sense of humor and their wacky photos like these:
Which kinda reminded me of my own photos:
Something tells me that I’d love travelling with these guys! So whaddya say, Em, should I book a flight to Oz and travel with you? Perhaps you can bring me to the beautiful Bargara beach or we can go find a koala to hug!
But if that’s way too creepy and “feeling close” for you, I totes understand.
Em – sorry, I mean Emily (geez, where are my boundaries?) also has a nifty page for her posts about Australia, so if you’re interested in reading about the place because you want to travel there or you live in the area, you should definitely check those posts out! My faves are below.
I also like her posts on advice from other people, like this one on marriage advice from everyone she knows (which I’m filing away for future reference) and the hilarious advice from her students about going down under.
She’s a nice, friendly blogger who would love to make new friends, so why don’t you go over and say hi? 🙂
This post is part of the A to Z Challenge, a blog hop that goes through the alphabet for all the days of April except Sundays. Today’s feature is E for EAT.

Funny! I thought this was going to be about food (not a bad thing). Lovely idea to feature another blogger. The photos are great too – I love how they match.

Haha yes, that’s what I thought too when I first saw her blog title, that it would be all about food!

Cool! Thanks for introducing us to Emily’s blog. I’m opening it now to take a look. Travel blogs are fun ways to get ideas for that next trip – whenever it may be. 🙂

Yes, I agree! They can also make great research material for your writing!
